Reverend Darnell K. Wise

Reverend Darnell K. Wise was born in Trenton New Jersey, to the late Mr. Leon and Mrs. Maude Wise. He was educated in the public school system of Trenton, New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He majored in christian counseling and his minor was in pastoral studies. Reverend Wise was called into God's ministry in 1988 and ordained in 1991. He was blessed to be the last child out of 13 children; he has nine beautiful sisters and three handsome brothers.

Rev. Wise has been involved in church ministry on a variety of levels most of his life. He has served as the former Youth Director for seven years at the Jerusalem Baptist Church where he was responsible for planning yearly youth retreats, workshops and seminars. He bridged the gap between the older parishioners and the young parishioners. Rev. Wise has taught youth and adult's bible class and Sunday school. Under his leadership, he facilitated community involvement within the church. Reverend Wise believes not only should youth be seen, but they should also be heard. He was the former Assistant Superintendent for Christian education at Jerusalem Baptist. Rev. Wise also served as interim pastor to the Faith Christian Church in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

The Lord has blessed Rev. Wise to travel extensively preaching and teaching the words of our master. Rev. Wise is a member of the Union Baptist Church where he taught new members classes and co-chairperson for the young adult ministry. Rev. Wise has received numerous awards for his outstanding leadership ability. Mayor Douglas Palmer presented him with the Outstanding Young Black Man Award. He received the Senator Bill Bradley Award, NAACP Successful Young Achievement Award, the Middlesex Baptist Association Youth Director of the Year Award and many other civic and religions awards.
